The film is directed by Ranjit M. Tewari, of Bell Bottom fame.
After the lacklustre reception to his most recent film, Raksha Bandhan Akshay Kumar is now solely concentrating on the untitled Production No. 41. The thriller, which was shot all across the UK and also features Rakul Preet Singh and Sargun Mehta, is directed by Ranjit M. Tewari. The production was completed by the actor in October of last year, but it has since come to light that he will film a special number in Mumbai this week.
According to a source, Akshay and Rakul will appear in a unique dance routine that the producers are planning. The song's choreography was created by Ahmed Khan. An elaborate set has been built in Kandivali as the background dancers have already started practising for it. In the upcoming days, it will be photographed using leads.
The movie, which was made by Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani, is reportedly a replica of the popular Tamil film Ratsasan. After their spy thriller Bell Bottom this is Kumar and the director's second collaboration.
Ram Kumar is the director of the 2018 Indian Tamil psychological crime thriller movie Ratsasan. The movie's main actors are Vishnu Vishal, Amala Paul, and Saravanan, and Kaali Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, and Ramdoss are included as supporting actors. After his father dies, the film's protagonist, an aspiring film director, joins the police force and sets out to find a serial killer.
Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran starred in Ramesh Varma's Telugu remake of Ratsasan titled Rakshasudu. Ratsasan was dubbed in Hindi as Main Hoon Dandadhikari, but the filmmakers also desired a Hindi version of the film.
