Akshay Kumar, John Abraham's 2011 in the pipeline to be remade with a new cast.
Audience is eagerly wating for Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome 3 and Hera Pheri 3. The superstar needs a blockbuster to recover from a slump at the box office. Desi Boyz is one of his hits. In the film, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham play men who lose their jobs out of the blue and start working as strippers at bachelorette celebrations. The movie did well at the box office. The songs were also well-liked.
Anand Pandit claimed that his company is working on far too many movies in various languages in an interview with Tellychakkar. He claims to have Sarkar 4, The Big Bull 2, Desi Boys 2, and an Omkara remake on the schedule. They are also in charge of producing Veer Savarkar. Randeep Hooda and Ankita Lokhande star in that movie. Also questioned was if Akshay Kumar and John Abraham would appear in Desi Boyz 2 again.
It would depend on the script, he was quoted as saying. He told the portal, "I am not sure about the same cast or the new cast or mix and match cast because I want to make this as a younger film." Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh were also in the movie.
In the meantime, Akshay has a highly exciting slate of upcoming movies, including OMG 2, Hera Pheri 3, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and more. John, on the other hand, last appeared in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's film Pathaan with Siddharth Anand. At the box office, the movie broke records.
It will be fascinating to see if the duo reunites because there have been rumours that they don't get along well after their 2018 clash between Satyameva Jayate and Gold.
