Akhil Akkineni's spy thriller Agent commences shoot

The film directed by Surender Reddy stars Akhil Akkineni, Sakshi Vaidya,

Even as his Telugu romantic comedy Most Eligible Bachelor with Pooja Hegde is awaiting release, actor Akhil Akkineni has commenced shooting for his next spy-action thriller, Agent, directed by Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy maker Surender Reddy today. The actor has pushed himself to the limits to beef up for the film and even flaunted his eight-pack-abs-look across his social media handles. Newcomer Sakshi Vaidya pairs up with the four-film old actor in the same.

Leading up to the shoot commencement, the film director, while sharing Akhil's look for Agent, had added, "This is just the beginning...Meeku mundu mundu undi pandaga!!" Agent is written by Vakkantham Vamsi, while Ramabrahmam Sunkara is producing the high-budget action extravaganza under his banner AK Entertainment in addition to the director's production house Surender 2 Cinema. Ramabrahmam said that the shoot took off after 'meticulous planning and intense training'.

It's rumoured that Malayalam star Mammootty would be a part of Agent, though neither the makers nor the actors have confirmed it. S Thaman scores the music for the film, which has cinematography by Ragul Herian Dharuman and will be edited by Naveen Nooli. Avinash Kolla is on board as an art director for the same. Akhil's earlier films as a male lead including Hello, Mr Majnu and Akhil are currently streaming on ZEE5. The streaming rights of Most Eligible Bachelor are with aha.
