Soon after the team winds up the portion in Araku Valley, they will be heading to a hill station for the rest of the shoot.

AK61 is directed by H Vinoth, who had earlier helmed Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai and the film is touted to be a heist thriller. Manju Warrier, who plays the leading lady in the film, will be teaming up with Ajith for the first time.
