Some of the most anticipated Malayalam films are slated to be released on OTT screens and theatres, this week (November 4 to November 10, 2024). While some of the most loved films of recent times, including Ajayante Randam Moshanam are gearing up for OTT releases, a few promising films including the Naslen starrer I Am Kathalan, are hitting the theatres.

Ajayante Randam Moshanam – Disney+ Hotstar (November 8)

The blockbuster movie which features Tovino Thomas in the lead role, is gearing up for its OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar, on November 8, 2024. Ajayante Randam Moshanam, directed by newcomer Jithin Laal, has been slated to be released on the platform in five langugages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Tovino appears in a double role as Ajayan, Maniyan, and Kunji Kelu in the film.

I am Kathalan (November 7)

I Am Kathalan, the long-delayed Malayalam film which stars Naslen K Gafoor in the lead role, hit the theatres on November 7, 2024. The movie, helmed by Premalu fame directed Girish AD, revoles around a small-town based hacker named Vishnu, who is locks horns with a major business group, after a series of unexpected events.

Level Cross - Manorama Max (November 7)

The acclaimed film directed by Arfaz Ayub is now available for streaming on Manorama Max. The movie, which features Asif Ali, Amala Paul, and Sharaf U Dheen, revolves around a modern young woman and a lonely, disheveled man, who meet at a level crossing and develop a strange bond. Level Cross is officially selected to be screened at the Indian Panorama section of IFFI Goa 2024.

Vishesham - Manorama Max (November 8)

The comedy drama film directed by Sooraj Tom, which features Anand Madhusoodanan and Chinnu Chandni in the lead roles, is gearing up to have its OTT premiere on Manorama Max, on November 8, 2024. Vishesham revolves around the story of Shiju Bhaktan and CPO TR Sajitha, a much-in-love couple and their struggles to conceive.

Gumasthan - Manorama Max (November 8)

The Malayalam thriller, directed by Amal K Joby and features Jaise Jose, Bibin George, and Dileesh Pothan in the lead role, is slated to be released on Manorama Max, on November 8, 2024. Gumasthan revovles around the life of Andrews Pulikkan, a clerk whose life takes a different turn after he gets entangled in the web of crimes.

Mura (November 8)

The action thriller film, directed by Kappela fame filmmaker Muhammed Musthafa, has been slated to hit the big screens on November 8, 2024. Suraj Venjaramoodu plays the lead role in the highly anticipated film, which stars Hridhu Haroon, Maala Parvathi, Kani Kusruti and Kannan Nayar in pivotal roles. Mura reportedly revolves around a gang’s attempts to get a big amount of black money, in the backdrop of Thiruvananthapuram city

Oru Anweshanathite Thudakam (November 8)

The action thriller film directed by MA Nishad, is also set to be released on November 8, 2024. Oru Anweshanathite Thudakam marks Vani Viswanath’s comeback to the big screens, after a very long gap. The movie features a massive star cast including Sshivada, Shine Tom Chacko, Mukesh, Samuthirakani, Swasika, Durga Krishna, Baiju Santhosh, Johny Antony, and others, in pivotal roles.
