Ajayan Vincent to crank the camera for KT Kunjumon's Gentleman 2

The film, will be directed by A Gokul Krishna of Aaha Kalyanam fame

Producer-director KT Kunjumon had recently announced that the sequel to Gentleman (1993), will be helmed by A Gokul Krishna of Aaha Kalyanam fame. And now, he has announced that veteran cinematographer Ajayan Vincent will handle the cinematography. He wrote on his social media page, "Proud to announce #AjayanVincent will be the Cinematographer for #GentlemanFilmInternational's Mega project #Gentleman2, @ajayanvincent @agoks @mmkeeravaani @NayantharaaC @PriyaaLal @johnsoncinepro @ajay_64403 @UrsVamsiShekar @PRO_SVenkatesh @Fridaymedia2 (sic)."

Ace composer Keeravani has been roped in to score the music for the film. While the leading man is yet to be announced, Nayanthara Chakravarthy and Priya lal have been confirmed as the leading ladies. KT Kunjumon has stated that the details about the other star cast and technicians will soon be revealed.

KT Kunjumon's Gentleman (1993), a heist action film, marked Shankar's directorial debut. The film had Arjun and Madhubala in the lead, along with Subhasri, MN Nambiar, Manorama, Goundamani, Senthil, Vineeth, Charan Raj and Rajan P Dev to name a few.

The plot revolved around Kicha (played by Arjun), a businessman selling appalam, who moonlights as a thief along with his partner in crime, Mani (Goundamani). Music for the film was by AR Rahman. Though the songs were reused in the Hindi version starring Chiranjeevi and Juhi Chawla, Anu Malik was credited as the composer.

The director to the sequel, Gentleman 2, has been part of films like Billa, Arindhum Ariyamalum, Sarvam where we worked as the co-director for VishnuVardhan. The director had expressed his happiness working on the film, with the post, "With the blessings of my parents and with the grace of God, my next project #Gentleman2 . Thanks @KT_Kunjumon sir #GentlemanFilmInternational (sic)." KT Kunjumon, too, had shared on his social media handle, "GentlemanFilmInternational Proud to announce A.Gokul Krishna @agoks as the director of our mega blockbuster project #Gentlemen2 @mmkeeravani @NayantharaaC @PriyaaLal @johnsoncinepro @ajay_64403 @UrsVamsiShekar @PRO_SVenkatesh (sic)".
