Plot and setting of Raid 2
In the highly anticipated sequel to 2018's smash hit Raid the film will once again tell a real-life story from the books of the Income Tax Department, honouring their unsung heroes.
Today, filming began in Mumbai, and the locations of Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai will all play significant roles in the finished product. The production of Raid 2 is already underway, and it is expected to deliver double the drama and tension of its captivating predecessor.
T-Series and Panorama Studios are making Raid 2 produced by Krishan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, and Kumar Mangat Pathak. On November 15, 2024, the film will hit theatres.
The film Raid also featured Ileana D'Cruz and Saurabh Shukla. The actual raid that the Income Tax Department's officials carried out in the 1980s served as the inspiration for the film. In the role, Saurabh Shukla portrayed a corrupt lawmaker who had hidden his illicit funds in inconspicuous locations like the recesses of a building and a specially built wall. In the film, Ileana portrayed the role of Ajay's wife.
Ajay Devgn's upcoming films
There are a lot of other flicks in Ajay's lineup besides Raid. In addition to Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha directed by Neeraj Pandey, he has the long-awaited period sports drama Maidaan. He is also reprising his iconic role in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty.
