Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 gets a release date, promising an intense drama and suspense

Ajay Devgn will once again be seen in the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik in the crime drama film, Raid 2.

Ajay Devgn is currently one of the busiest actors in the Hindi film industry with films like Singham Again, Son Of Sardaar 2, and Raid 2 in the works. It's been six years since one of his successful films Raid was released. The crime drama is based on a true story and is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Upon its release, it was appreciated by the critics as well as the audience for its gripping narrative which kept the audiences at the edge of their seats. Now, the makers have finally announced the release date of the sequel.

Raid 2 release date announced!

Ajay Devgn is once again coming back as Amay Patnaik, the IRS Deputy Commissioner of the Income Tax Department. The makers promise to bring another intriguing quest which will be directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Krishna Kumar. Raid 2 will be released on 21st February 2025.

The sequel, Raid 2, was announced in late 2023 and has since created significant buzz on social media. Besides Ajay Devgn, the film will also star Vaani Kapoor as the female lead, along with a new antagonist - Rriteish Deshmukh. The film will also feature Rajat Kapoor, who was seen sharing the screen space with Devgn in Drishyam, in an important role. The film is being shot in Delhi and Lucknow.
