Ajay Devgn has a couple of films lined up for release. One of them is Maidaan, which will hit the silver screen on Eid this year. Directed by Amit Ravinderanth Sharma, Maidaan is a biographical sports drama, that features Ajay as a football coach. A few months before the movie's theatrical release, the makers planned to unveil the trailer of the film. According to a media report, the Maidaan trailer will drop on March 7, 2024.

As per an ETimes report, the makers of Ajay Devgn's Maidaan will release the trailer of the film on March 7, 2024. A grand trailer launch event has been planned around the same. Interestingly, this film's trailer will be attached to Ajay's first release of the year, Shaitaan. The Vikas Bahl directorial is set to release in cinemas on March 8, 2024.
A day after the Maidaan trailer drops online, the audience will be able to watch it on the silver screen while they enjoy watching Shaitaan. As far as Maidaan is concerned, the movie has been produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla.

Who plays what in Maidaan?
In this movie, Ajay Devgn will be seen as Syed Abdul Rahim, a football coach. The basic premise of the Maidaan revolves around Syed's life journey and how he revolutionized football in India. The movie is set between 1952 to 1962.
Talking about Priyamani, she will essay the role of Syed's wife. The star cast of the Amit Ravindernath Sharma directorial also features Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh, Madhur Mittal, Chaitanya Sharma, Manandeep Singh among others.
Maidaan's box office clash with Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn's Maidaan is headed for a box-office clash with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will be released on Eid 2024, the same day as Maidaan. BMCM also stars Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles.
