Aishwarya Rajesh's next titled Farhana, makers reveal never-before-seen first look of the actress

Nelson Venkatesan has directed the movie which will hit the screens soon

Aishwarya Rajesh, who was last seen in the acclaimed Amazon Prime Tamil series Suzhal, is now ready with her next. Titled Farhana, its makers have unveiled the first look poster, too. It features the actress who is all smiles sporting a head scarf and a headphone.

Nelson Venkatesan of Monster and Oru Naal Koothu fame has helmed the project which has been produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures. The leading production house has had two direct OTT releases this year, O2 and Vattam, both which dropped on Disney+ Hotstar.

Aishwarya is playing an independent and courageous girl in the movie. The team is expected to divulge more details about her character in the coming days. Driver Jamuna is the next release of the actress who also has Mohandas, The Great Indian Kitchen and Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga in her kitty.

Selvaraghavan, who made his acting debut this year, is said to be essaying the role of the antagonist in the film. He was seen in a notable role in Beast, while he essayed one of the lead characters in Saani Kaayidham. He also played a cameo in his directorial Naane Varuvean which was released a week ago.

Jithan Ramesh, Anumol, Kitty and Aishwarya Dutta essay crucial roles in Farhana which has cinematography handled by Gokul Benoy. Sankar Dass and Ranjith Ravindran have penned the screenplay for the movie along with director Nelson while Justin Prabhakaran has composed music and VJ Sabu Joseph is in charge of editing.

The film, we hear, is in its post-production stage, and makers are coming up with its first single tomorrow. An excited Aishwarya took to Twitter to post, "Meet #Farhana, a woman of strength and confidence and a picture of elegance!! A character crafted to perfection by  director Nelson Venkatesan!! Very proud to release this first look (sic)."
