The pan-Indian movie, which is directed by Jithin Lal, will have three heroines
Tovino Thomas is all set to begin work on his next big budget period action entertainer titled Ajayante Randam Moshanam. The movie’s director Jithin Lal had previously told OTTplay that the movie will have three heroines and we have learnt that after Telugu actress Krithi Shetty, Tamil star Aishwarya Rajesh is the latest to join the film.
The movie, which will have Tovino essay a triple role for the first time in his career, will begin shooting in Madurai on October 11. The film is to move to Kanhangad, where majority of the filming will take place over a schedule of 100 days.
Tovino essays the roles of Maniyan, Kunjikelu and Ajayan in the portions set in 1900, 1950 and 1990, respectively. While the bulk of the story will be set in the 1990s, the film’s story will shuttle back and forth between the three timelines.
Ajayante Randam Moshanam, which is set to be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada, will mark Krithi’s Mollywood debut. Aishwarya had previously acted in two Malayalam movies – Sakhavu with Nivin Pauly and Jomonte Suvisheshangal with Dulquer Salmaan. The third heroine in the film is expected to be announced within the next two days.
Tovino, who is fresh off the success of the biggest hit of his career, Thallumaala, had completed the shoot of Dr Biju’s Adrishya Jalakangal for which he had undergone major physical transformation. The Minnal Mural actor had also begun training in kalarippayattu to prep for his role in Ajayante Randam Moshanam.
In a recent interview with OTTplay, Tovino said that while shooting for Adrishya Jalakangal, which also has Nimisha Sajayan and Indrans, the actor used to wake up at 5:30am to practise kalarippayattu. The actor also has Lal Jr’s Nadigar Thilakam, Jude Anthany Joseph’s film on the 2018 floods and Aashiq Abu’s period film Neelavelicham coming up. He has completed shooting for the latter two films.
