The movie has been directed by debutant Dinesh Lakshmanan
The first look of the film
It was announced a few months ago that Aishwarya Rajesh and Arjun are teaming up for an investigative thriller which will have debutant Dinesh Lakshmanan at the helm. The makers have now unveiled its first look poster along with its title, Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga. Produced by G Arul Kumar under the banner of GS Arts, the first look has Arjun, who is clad in a denim blue shirt and holding an umbrella, looking stylish as usual.
A terrified Aishwarya is seen holding a book to chest. Lokesh Kanagaraj released the first look poster which comes with the tagline 'Blood will have blood'. Saravanan Abimanyu has handled cinematography for the movie which has music by Bharath Aaseevagan.
K Ganesh Kumar has choreographed action sequences for the film along with Vicky, while Lawrence Kishore and Navaneethan Sundarrajan have handled editing and art direction respectively for Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga. According to reports, Arjun will be seen essaying the role of an investigative officer and Aishwarya plays a teacher in the movie.
Billed as a female-centric film, the project's story revolves around a mystery associated with a school and its students. We hear that autism among students is an integral part of the movie's story.
Though the makers' initial plan was to release the film in theatres in March, looks like the third wave has disrupted their plan as many movies postponed their releases.
Aishwarya, who was last seen in Boomika (streaming on Netflix), currently has Driver Jamuna, The Great Indian Kitchen, Mohandas, an untitled movie with Prabhu Deva and Dhruva Natchathiram in her kitty. On the other hand, Arjun, whose previous outing in Tamil was Friendship (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), has Methavi up next.
