Ahsoka episode 7 review: This Star Wars series is gripping from start to finish

You just cannot miss out on this special episode

Story:

Trained under Anakin (Darth Vader), Ahsoka sets off on a journey to bring Ezra Bridger back. She is doing so for her apprentice, Sabine Wren.

Review:

Sabine Wren has reunited with Ezra Bridger, while Ahsoka Tano is out to search for her apprentice. This plot twist is one you wouldn't have expected to see but here we are.

Episode 7 commences with the typical Star Wars vibe but if you wait for it, the show only gets better. It begins with Syndulla being her fierce self, even in front of the jury.

C3PO makes a surprise entry this time around. He is one of the best things at the beginning of the episode called Dreams and Madness.

The focus shifts of Thawrne and rightly so. This keeps your interest in the show going.

The action never stops with this one and that keeps you at the edge of your seat. It is the chase sequences that keep you interested in the episode.

The battle is between Ahsoka and Thawrne this time. It is a battle of the mind and you will love each moment of it.

The bond between Sabine and Ezra is further explored and it is beautiful. While the focus is one their bond, the brief moment when Ahsoka reunites with Ezra is also quite important.

If you have Ahsoka and Sabine on one side, Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati are on the other. You can clearly see the difference between the mentor-apprentice bond once again. There is a dramatic moment with Baylon explored this time and you do not understand it immediately but there is a thought behind the scene.

Seeing Ezra in action for the first time on the show really works. He does not use weapons even against Shin, which goes on to prove his confidence.

While we have been obsessed with stormtroopers since we met them in the first scene of Star Wars, this show now introduces Night troopers. They aren’t much different and have nothing in front of the cutest clan – Noti. Nonetheless, they are a welcomed change in making the episode feel whole.

Ahsoka's re-entry comes at an important moment and proves vital to the story. It comes just when you thought things couldn’t get better. This goes on to state the impact of this episode alone.

Verdict:

The Geeta Vasant Patel-directed episode is all things Star Wars was. It is by far the best episode of the series and there is no way you’d want to miss this one. So, go for it already!
