Naga Babu gave an explosive speech at the pre-release event of his son Varun Tej's Operation Valentine. His remarks have left many in an angry mood. Here's why

Operation Valentine is all set to hit the screens on March 1, 2024. Special premieres will be held today in select cities of Telugu states and there is a decent buzz for this film as it is the first ever Air Force drama in Telugu cinema. As the promotions are on in full swing, Varun Tej's father, popular actor Naga Babu has apologised to the fans.
Going into details, during the pre-release event of the film, Naga Babu in his speech stated that Varun Tej is tall and can suit any role with ease. He also gave an example stating Varun's height gives him an advantage over other actors who are five feet three inches tall and still try to attempt cop roles in films.

This comment of his has not gone well with many of Jr NTR's fans who felt that Naga Babu targeted their favorite hero with his remarks. They have been trolling Naga Babu with nasty comments on social media. Looks like Naga Babu and his family do not want to take any risk ahead of their son's movie release and he has now apologised to the fans.
In his note, Naga Babu clearly states that his comments have been misunderstood and he was only referring to actors who are short and cannot fit certain roles. Naga Babu is busy with his political assignments as he will contest in the upcoming AP elections in 2024.
Well, this apology from Naga Babu comes as a sigh of relief for Varun Tej ahead of Operation Valentine. He is yet to score a hit in the last two years and has pinned all his hopes on this film to make a comeback. This film also marks his Hindi debut and he is going all out with the promotions.
Shakti Singh has directed Operation Valentine which has Manushi Chhillar as the female lead. The film is based on the Pulwama attack and has been made on a budget of Rs 40 crore. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
