Harom Hara is Sudheer Babu's latest release which will be out on Aha on July 11, 2024. The makers lost big money on this action drama. Here's how much loss they suffered.
Sudheer Babu in Harom Hara
Sudheer Babu is one of the most talented actors in Telugu and works hard on each of his films. But sadly, he is yet to see a massive success in his long career. He pinned a lot of hopes on his last movie, Harom Hara, but sadly, the action drama ended as a flop at the box office.
Well, as the film is all set to stream on Aha from July 11, 2024, we at OTTplay bring you exclusive details about how much the film made in its full theatrical run. Harom Hara hit the screens on June 14, 2024, and had a decent word of mouth for the grand visuals and Sudheer Babu's performance.
But sadly, the film fell flat on day two as negative word of mouth spread that Harom Hara is an unofficial rip of KGF and is set in the Chitoor region. Well, Harom Hara was out of the theaters after its first week and made only Rs 5.2 crore in its full run.
The action drama directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka was made on a budget of Rs 13 crore, and that means that the makers lost close to Rs 8 crore in total. Aha has bought the rights for a decent amount, and the burden of the producers was reduced a bit with this OTT deal.
Sunil and Malavika Sharma played key roles in this film, with a gun-making business as the backdrop. Harom Hara had great visuals, and the cameraman, Arvind Viswanathan, won solid praise for showcasing the film in a completely new light.
Ravi Kale and Arjun Gowda also played critical roles in this film with music by Chaitan Bhardwaj. We must see how Harom Hara will fare when it lands on Aha. Watch this space for more updates.
