Double Ismart
Puri Jagan is one of the star directors in Telugu cinema. But sadly, he is lying low with the failure of his last film, Liger. Featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey in lead roles, Liger led to major financial losses for Puri Jagan.
To come out of it and make a solid comeback, he has now teamed up with Ram Pothineni for Double Ismart. The action drama is the official sequel to Puri and Ram's hit film, Ismart Shankar. The makers announced a few days ago that the teaser of the film would be out on May 15, 2024, which also happens to be Ram Pothineni's birthday.

The makers also revealed that the teaser will be 85 seconds long and feature crazy mass moments that will be showcased on Ram Pothineni. Also, as the teaser for Double Ismart will be revealed, all those who missed the first part can stream Ismart Shankar on ZEE5.
The film is now streaming on the popular platform and can be streamed for super hit songs, amazing dialogues, and a very interesting storyline. So, we need to see what Puri Jagan has in store for us with the sequel, Double Ismart.
Kavya Thapar plays the female lead in this film, which is being produced by Charmee Kaur under her banner, Puri Connects. Double Ismart is also a very key film in Ram Pothineni's career, as his last film, Skanda, in the direction of Boyapati Sreenu, ended as a big flop. So, he is also looking to score a hit and make a comeback.
Sanjay Dutt will be seen in a negative role in this film and he is a special attraction in the film. The Bollywood star charged Rs 6 crore as his fee and wrapped up his part a few days ago. Double Ismart has been in the news, and the shoot was halted for three months due to financial issues.
Puri and his team struggled hard to get the film back on track, and finally, they did by starting a new schedule in Mumbai. Now, all eyes are on the teaser of the film. Let's see if it lives up to all the hype or not.
