Aha's Balu Gani Talkies OTT release postponed, here's what we know

Aha has been churning out shows one after the other. Next in line was an original film titled Balu Gani Talkies. The village drama was all set for its premiere on September 13, 2024, and the trailer created a decent hype. But we at OTTplay have learned that the film has been postponed to a further date.

Balu Gani Talkies postponed to a further date

Aha has not announced a new release date but one of the sources close to the film says that Balu Gani Talkies will be out in the last week of September 2024. Aha has spent a decent amount on the digital rights of the film and has also been promoting it aggressively.

Shiva Rama Chandravarapu plays the main lead in this film which is about a person named Balu who owns a small theater in his village. It is his dad's theater and struggles to run it. To make things work, he airs adult films and this creates so many issues in his personal life as well. How he comes out of it is the basic story of Balu Gani Talkies.

Raghu Kunche is seen in a negative role in this film which has been made on a very low budget. The reasons for the postponement are not yet known but the makers promise to announce the release date soon and also come back with a bang. Balu Gani Talkies is a big film for Shiva Rama Chandravarapu as he has only done negative roles in his career.

So, the success of this film was much needed for him. But sadly, Balu Gani Talkies has now been postponed to a further date. Aha has also lined up many other films set for streaming this week and one of them is the Malayalam hit Aaha.
