Ahan Shetty, son of Bollywood star Suniel Shetty is all set for his Bollywood debut and it looks like the day has finally dawned. The Ahan Shetty-Tara Sutaria starrer movie Tadap is slated for a theatrical release on December 3 this year. Fox Star Hindi took it to their Instagram handle to share the news.

The poster of Tadap featuring Ahan and Tara was released a couple of months ago and the fans lauded it. Not only the fans but even the Bollywood stars gave a shout out when the poster was released. Superstars Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn had introduced Ahan on their social media profiles, appreciating the upcoming actor.

Tadap is a Hindi remake of the 2018 Telugu chartbuster movie RX100 which was helmed by Ajay Bhupati. RX100 had Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in the pivotal roles.

The shooting of the movie went on floors in August 2019 at a theatre named Central Plaza in Mumbai. In the flick, Ahan’s character will run a movie theatre. The movie is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala and co-produced by Fox Star Studios. Ahan and Tara had finished off the shooting in March, earlier this year and Ahan even took to his Instagram handle expressing his thoughts on wrapping his first flick. He captioned, “It’s a wrap on my first film. Going to hold on to these memories forever. Thank you to the whole team of Tadap and everyone who pushed me in ways I didn’t know I could.”

The director of the upcoming saga, Milan Luthria had described Ahan’s character in the movie as someone who runs a movie theatre. The film is touted to be a love story between Ahan's and Tara's characters and is said to have a lot of drama. He had said in an interview with ETimes that they have adapted the Telugu story to suit the Hindi audience. The film was earlier scheduled for a release in September this year but got postponed due to the second wave of the pandemic.

The movie will also feature Saurabh Shukla, Kumud Mishra and Sumit Gulati.
