Agent OTT release date: When and where the new re-edited version of the Akhil, Mammootty starrer will be out

Agent is one film that was one of the most-awaited projects in Telugu cinema. Akhil made a solid transformation on this film and pinned a lot of hopes on this project. Surender Reddy directed this film which was out on April 28th and opened to a disaster talk from day one itself disappointing the fans and Akhil big time.

Things did not stop here as the OTT release of the film which was supposed to happen by the end of May also did not happen. Then, a week later news came out that the OTT release has been postponed as the makers were editing a new copy for the digital screening.

The news is that the film is ready and will be out on the 23rd of June, 2023. Now the question is whether the new OTT version will make any difference after its release. Surender Reddy has himself edited the film for the OTT screening and he is nowhere seen post the debacle of the film.

On the other hand, Akhil, who was supposed to launch his new film also called off the project and has gone underground. Sakshi Vaidya played the female lead in this film. Sony Liv has bought the streaming rights of the film for a fancy price and they are curious to see how the film will fare on OTT.

Post the theatrical release, Agent was trolled big time on social media, and will the same happen post its OTT release needs to be seen. Anil Sunkara produced this film on a budget of 80 crores. He openly admitted that he and his team went on sets without a bound script and this created a whole lot of issues for the film.
