Agent is one film which disappointed Akhil Akkineni big time. He gave over two years to the action drama and made a solid transformation. But all this did not go in favor of the film as Agent ended as a massive disaster at the box office. Surender Reddy directed this film which had Mammootty in a key role.

Agent released on April 28 and was out of theaters within a week. So, this gave the film's OTT release a lot of hype. The action drama was supposed to be out on May 19, 2023 but that did not happen. We at OTTplay had exclusively reported that the film was being re-edited for the digital release and a proper new version will be out on the 23 of June, 2023.

But sadly, Agent is not streaming on Sony Liv giving us a confirmation that the OTT release has been delayed yet again. The reason for the delay is not yet known but fans and the general audience who wanted to watch the film on OTT are surely disappointed. All those who missed the film on the big screen wanted to watch it on OTT but the film's digital release date happens to be suspenseful as of now.

There is rumor going around that as there is an issue between the producers and Sony Liv regarding the financial aspect, the film is yet to start streaming. This is the first time that a Telugu film has been delayed twice when it comes to its OTT screening.

OTT platforms are very organized when it comes to release dates and promotions but it is very hard to understand why Agent is getting delayed on OTT?. Sakshi Vaidya played the female lead in this film which was made on a budget of 80 cores.
