According to a few viral videos that surfaced on X today, fans of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal – which is filled with sex and violence-driven content, burst crackers out of excitement. This development, however, has sparked safety concerns in the theatres. Many social media users have expressed their worry about the new trend.
One X user said, “What the hell is happening? Why can’t I watch the movie peacefully?”

This development comes days after fans of Tiger 3 emoted a similar sentiment and opted to burst crackers in the theatres. Later, Salman Khan urged his fans and well-wishers to not hamper the safety of moviegoers.

Recently in November, Bollywood star Salman Khan reacted to a viral video showing moviegoers bursting firecrackers inside a theatre during "Tiger 3" screening. He, in a press statement, called the incident “dangerous" and urged people to avoid "putting ourselves and others at risk".

Ranbir Kapoor's film, Animal, is making waves at the box office, achieving a remarkable milestone. According to film trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Animal has swiftly surpassed the ₹200 crore mark in global box office earnings within just two days. Helmed by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie features Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, supported by an ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna.
