Good news for all the Manoj Bajpayee and Kay Kay Menon fans! The two actors are roped in for Neeraj Pandey's upcoming thriller feature film. They won hearts with their roles in The Family Man and Special Ops. While the former was directed by Raj & DK, the latter was helmed by Neeraj Pandey. The spy thrillers are still fans' favorite. Even, The Family Man season 3 is reportedly releasing around Diwali 2025. Now, the latest report suggests that the two actors are all set to be featured in Neeraj's upcoming directorial, a thriller film.

Pinkvilla reported that Neeraj Pandey’s next directorial will feature Manoj Bajpayee and Kay Kay Menon in the lead. It is an edge-of-the-seat thriller set against the backdrop of Indian Intelligence Agencies.

The source added, "The director has pulled off a casting coup by bringing two of the most talented actors of Indian Cinema on board.” He has signed on a lucrative deal with Netflix and this one will be a feature film taking direct to digital route.

More about Neeraj Pandey's project

The pre-production work of the yet-untitled thriller has already begun and the makers are planning to take the film on floors in May 2025.

“Neeraj is working on multiple other scripts, and is yet to lock his next for the big screen. He is excited to embark on a journey with Manoj and Kay Kay starting this summer, and plans to invest next 6 months of his career on this espionage. The film will premiere on Netflix in 2026,” the source shared.

About The Family Man Season 3

A few days ago, taking to his Instagram handle, the actor shared a story from the wrap day on the sets of The Family Man Season 3.

The story featured a picture of a cake with the text "2024 Shoot Wrap." A clapperboard above the cake echoed the same message. Bajpayee captioned the story, "Shooting wrapped!! For Family Man 3! Aur thoda intezar.”

In a recent interview with Variety, Manoj Bajpayee described Season 3 as bigger and more complex. He said, "Season 3 is going to be far bigger, and the story is far more complicated this time,” he teased. “Srikant Tiwari is in a much, much bigger soup, and now he has to come out of it—not just to save himself, but also his family and his job.”
