After suffering from dengue, Srijato is released from the hospital

After coming back home, he wrote a poem and shared it with his fans.

Director-poet Srijato suffered from a bad dengue and finally is recovering. His wife Durba Banerjee informed the media. He was recently released from the hospital. After coming back home, he wrote a poem and shared it with his fans.

In an interview with Aajkal Dot Net, Durba said, “He is weak, but the platelets have increased. He has to obey the rules. Livers are damaged by dengue. It happened with Srijato as well. The doctor advised a protein-rich light diet.”

Srijato has to take a long rest. Durba said that he is writing poems and watching OTT series.

Srijato's platelet suddenly dropped last week. Durba informed, “Platelets went down to 32,000 on Wednesday. It slightly increased on Thursday. but the Packed Cell Volume (PCV) is still low.”

Was Srijato in the ICU? Durba said that he was kept in a separate cabin. After he got sick, Srijato was initially treated at his place. But his fever did not remit. Platelets came down to 60,000. Durba then decided to admit him. Srijato had Covid two times. Now he has dengue. Hence he is very weak.

To Srijato's fans who were worried about his condition, Durba said 'Srijato needs a long rest. There is no reason to get worried.'
