After Mitin Mashi, Koel Mallick starts shooting for a new film with Ranjit Mallick

Koel Mallick returned to the set on Friday to shoot another film, Sharthopor, in which Ranjit Mallick plays her father.

A few days back, Koel Mallick finished Mitin Mashi's shooting. She returned to the set on Friday to shoot another film, Sharthopor. The actress shared the news by posting the film's script. Koel will share the screen with his father Ranjit Mallick in the film. 

The film tells a relationship story where Ranjit Mallick plays Koel's lawyer. Koushik Sen will play Koel's elder brother whose lawyer will be played by Anirban Chakrabarti. 

The story shows that Kaushik brought up Koel. But when she demands her share of the ancestral property, the relationship takes a bleak turn. Does a girl become selfish if she demands her share of the property? The film, a directorial debut of Annapurna Basu, will answer that. Sadeep Bhattacharjee wrote the script. 

Koel shared the script's photo on her Instagram Story. She had a no-makeup look. She wrote, “Shooting starts from today. Need your blessings as always.” Meanwhile, Ranjit Mallick was last seen in the film Love Marriage, also starring Ankush Hazra and Oindrila Sen. The film was directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki. 

Last Puja, Koel’s Mitin Mashi – directed by Arindam Sil – did good business at the box office. This year also she is coming with another film from the franchise. Koel had an injury in her hand during the shooting, which was stopped for a few days because of the accident. 

The new Mitin film's name is Ekti Khunir Sondhane Mitin. This will be the third film of the franchise. After her marriage and motherhood, Koel reduced her films. Hence, after two Mitin films, it will be big news for the audience to see Koel in a relationship drama, where her father will also play a role.
