After Mithai, Soumitrisha Kundu will join Dev in North Bengal to shoot Pradhan

Mithai drew to a close and Soumitrisha Kundu – the lead actress of the show – is all set to become Dev’s heroine. This piece of news made Mithai's fans happy. She will act with Dev in the film Pradhan, directed by Avijit Sen. Avijit has previously directed the blockbuster movie, Projapoti. Soumitrisha is debuting in cinema with Pradhan.

Soumitrisha said that the shooting will start in August. Dev is now busy with the shooting of Byomkesh O Durga Rahasya. He has heard the narration of Pradhan. Now he divulged that the shooting will take place in North Bengal. Recently Dev was interacting with his fans on Twitter. One fan asked him, “Dada when are you coming to North Bengal?” Dev answered, “To shoot Pradhan.”

Soumitrisha was trolled on social media after this news came. She was appearing in several premieres of Dev’s films in the last few months. The two of them were seen together in a party mood. She is accused of grabbing the work by maintaining a ‘good relationship’ with the hero. Soumitrisha, in an interview with News 18, said, “Yes we have a good relationship. He adores me. But business is everything at the end of the day. I am like Devda’s sister. But that is not why I got this offer.”

The film, which is a family drama, is produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Bengal Talkies. If everything goes fine, then the film will be released this Christmas.
