Silambarasan with Thaman; Vijay
Fans of Vijay who were awaiting the second single of Varisu were delighted to know that Silambarasan has been roped in to lend voice for the track, titled Thee Thalapathy. The song composed by Thaman has become a hit among Vijay's fans, thanks to the composition and Silambarasan's vocals.
Surprisingly, the Maanaadu star has also appeared in the song, leaving fans of both the stars excited. As if this isn't enough, there is news doing the rounds that the actor-singer will be playing a cameo in Varisu. Though an official confirmation is awaited, trustable sources have confirmed the same.
Needless to say, movie lovers are thrilled about this development, and are waiting to know if this would become true. A few pics of Silambarasan from the movie's location has further fueled the speculations. Vamshi Paidipally has directed the project which has been bankrolled by Dil Raju.
The movie marks the Kollywood debut of both the director and producer, though the former has made a bilingual a few years earlier which was released in Tamil and Telugu. Sarath Kumar, Prabhu and Prakash Raj among others essay key roles in Varisu which has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead.
The movie's release has been confirmed as January 12 a few days ago. It will have a box office clash with Ajith's Thunivu in Tamil Nadu, while its Telugu version Vaarasudu will take on Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy in Telugu states.
Touted as a family drama, Varisu, according to producer Dil Raju, will remind the audience of some of Vijay's earlier projects like Thullatha Manamum Thullum.
