Salman Khan teamed up with AR Murugadoss for Sikandar. After the firing incident outside his house, the superstar will reportedly begin Sikandar's shoot soon.

Salman Khan recently found himself in danger after gunshots were fired outside his Mumbai residence. Two men, on a bike, fired gunshots in the wee hours of April 14 and fled the scene. Following the same, Salman has been assured of increased security. Days after the aforementioned incident, it is reported that Khan will soon begin working on filmmaker AR Murugadoss' film Sikandar. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid 2025.
According to a Mid-Day report, AR Murugadoss is currently busy with the shoot of a film, tentatively titled SK23, featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Despite that, the filmmaker has decided to commence Sikandar's shoot with Salman Khan in May. Murugadoss will be juggling between the two projects for the next two months.
"Before Sikandar goes on floors, Murugadoss wants to wrap up the maximum portions of SK23. After he shoots the first schedule of Sikandar in May, he will go back to finish Sivakarthikeyan’s movie in June. From July, he will be fully immersed in the Salman-starrer," a source told the tabloid.
The filmmaker has reportedly dedicated a team to help him finish SK23's shoot as soon as possible. For those who are unaware, Murugadoss' Sikandar marks his first collaboration with Salman Khan.
On April 14, people woke up to the shocking news of gunshots being fired outside Salman Khan's Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra. After the incident, security was tightened for Salman and two suspects were nabbed by the police from Bhuj, Gujarat.
Salman's brother, Arbaaz Khan, issued an official statement on behalf of the entire Khan family. In the statement, it was mentioned that the family was taken aback by the incident.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman's last theatrical release was Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. It was released in cinemas on Diwali 2023.
