Manasi was elated to get such a huge response on the audition on Sunday. The director, producer Subhankar Mitra, veteran actor Phalguni Chatterjee, and the chief of the theater group Belgharia Rup Tapas, Koushik, were the judges.
Manasi wrote on Facebook, “The day before yesterday, the audition under Dhaga Production’s banner that was supposed to start at 11 am started on time but ended at 11.35 pm. We could not imagine that so many people would come wishing to work. Your love amazed us. We will try our best to honor that you stood in the queue for hours in such heat and gave the audition. I can give my word that I will take those of you, who were selected, in the projects under Dhaga Production’s banner. Many of you did a good job. Please have some patience. You will soon see yourselves or your friends in several projects of Dhaga Production. Please believe that not all places allow unfair work. Thanks,” she wrote.
