After defeating cancer, Aindrila Sharma goes back to the floors

She will be seen in Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s Bholey Baba Par Karega with Anirban Chakrabarty

Aindrila Sharma is back and how! After defeating cancer twice, the actress is all geared up to be back on screen. She will be seen as actor Anirban Chakrabarti’s daughter in Zee Bangla Original film, Bholey Baba Par Karega. She will all be seen doing Karate with her on-screen father.

In the promotion posts of the film, the actress has sported short hair. In regular loungewear, she poses to defeat Anirban. In an interview with Anandabazar Online, she said that her director Abhimanyu Mukherjee wanted to portray her exactly the way she looks. “I thought short hair could be a problem. I thought I would have to wear a wig. However, my director said that I would look like myself,” she said.

Aindrila is back on the floors months after fighting cancer. An elated actress said that this was all she was waiting for. “This is what I wanted with all my heart and that is happening. I cannot even control my happiness,” she said.

Aindrila is also extremely happy for being able to work with Anirban. She said that Anirban is a very good actor. “Not only on screen, but he also performs really well in real life too. He is so rooted. Working with him is a pleasure,” added the actress. Talking about the initial adjustment problems, she said that she faced none. “On the contrary, I am elated. It feels like a whiff of fresh air in my life,” she said. Sayan Banerjee will be seen opposite Aindrila.

Out of nine days of the shooting schedule, the actress worked on six days. The shooting ended on July 4. The film is yet to go for dubbing. Aindrila’s mother packed her lunch every day and the actress shared it with everyone on the floor. In return, she also occasionally gorged on phuchka and kebabs. “We worked and ate almost simultaneously on the floors,” she quipped.
