Dev wrote on his Twitter account, “One request pls don’t upload any footage from the film while watching #BaghaJatin or any other films which are releasing simultaneously.” Lots of piracies happen nowadays. A film comes online just after getting released. Also, posting small clips is a new trend. Dev asked his fans not to do those things.

Netizens responded positively to this request and said that they would not record any part of the film. One person wrote, “We don't support piracy. We will watch the film in the halls, or we will not watch at all.” “Yes dada, none of us supports it. We loved your film,” wrote another. A fan wrote, “You won everyone’s heart.”
