Legendary actor Jeetendra Kapoor will be seen in ALTBalaji’s masaledar entertainer Apharan 2 soon which is produced by his daughter and head honcho Ekta Kapoor. She took to her Instagram page and posted a photo of her father Jeetendra wherein she unveiled his look from the upcoming series.

In the photo, the Himmatwala actor is seen all dressed up in the character with a broad smile that still holds the magic. What is more exciting for the fans is Jeetendra appearing in Apharan 2. It was Ekta’s caption that gave us confirmation about the news. She wrote “@tansworld ne kiya inka ‘APHARAN’ 2 Coming soon”

For the uninitiated, Tanveer Bookwala will be producing the second season of the extremely popular 2018 series Apharan which has created quite a buzz amongst fans.

It is not just us fans that are so pumped for the veteran actor’s comeback but many celebrities also commented on Ekta’s Instagram post expressing their excitement. Siddhant Kapoor commented “Wow! Would be amazing to see him on screen again” Rohit Roy also went ahead and hailed the actor and commented which read, “Legend.” Paridhi Sharma who starred in Ekta’s Jodha Akbar commented, “Wah wah.”

For the unversed, Apharan was released in 2018 and became a chartbuster for streaming giant ALTBalaji. The series features Arunoday Singh as Rudra Srivatsava in the lead role along with Mahie Gill, Nidhi Singh, Monica Chaudhary and Varun Badola play important roles as well.

The series revolves mainly around kidnapping and has a lot of suspense and mystery elements to it. The second season is currently under production and is expected to be stream by the last quarter of 2021.
