Union Minister Amit Shah praised the team of HanuMan when he was in Hyderabad the other day. Teja Sajja and director Prasanth Varma met the BJP leader.
Amit Shah praises Hanuman
Months after its release, HanuMan continues to get appreciation from different quarters. Now, none other than the Union Home Minister of India, Amit Shah, has praised the film. The BJP leader met the team of HanuMan, Teja Sajja, and director Prasanth Varma in Hyderabad and congratulated the duo for making a film on Indian history and a powerful deity like HanuMan.
“Met the talented actor Shri @tejasajja123 and film director Shri @PrasanthVarma of the recent superhit movie Hanuman. The team has done a commendable job of showcasing Bharat’s spiritual traditions and the superheroes that have emerged from them. Best wishes to the team for their future projects,” posted Amit Shah on social media.

HanuMan has grossed just over Rs 300 crore worldwide and is ready for its OTT release in Hindi on March 16, 2024. The release date of the Telugu version on OTT is yet to be locked. Prasanth Varma has already announced the sequel to the film which has been titled Jai HanuMan. He has also started shooting for the same today and posted a snap from the sets.
On the other hand, Teja Sajja is high on the success of HanuMan and has hiked his fee considerably. He has three films as of now and will play a key role in the sequel. Teja Sajja started as a child actor and did over 50 films. He made his big-screen debut with Zombie Reddy, which was also directed by Prasanth Varma.
Meanwhile, the man of the moment, Prasanth Varma made his debut with the film Awe which was produced by Nani. He has come a long way in his career and has seen superstardom with HanuMan. He is getting some big offers in Bollywood and is even being compared to Rajamouli, in terms of filmmaking and vision.
