Aftab Shivdasani is gearing up to be seen in the upcoming action-thriller web series Special Ops 1.5 on Disney+ Hotstar. In the latest trailer, the actor has been seen doing a lot of action sequences and gunfights. Not many people know that before debuting as the lead in the 1999 film Mast, Aftab has been seen in popular films like Mr India and ChaalBaaz as a child actor.

According to Pinkvilla, talking about the new upcoming versions of these two films, the actor said that he doesn't know what’s being done with these two films, but they are both masterpieces and it’s difficult to replicate the greatness.

Speaking about a sudden burst of the content of OTT platforms and cinema, he mentioned, "I am sure they both can co-exist. Fortunately or unfortunately because of the pandemic, everybody has got used to sitting in their homes and watching things at their fingertips, and that whole pattern is here to stay. But I also maintain that going to a cinema is an experience you can’t have at home. So both will have their own charms, and I think they both can co-exist."

He further added that there is no bigger star or smaller star on OTT platforms, it's the content. He also said that the makers need to focus on the content, and that’s actually a good thing because a lot of people had started to ignore the content and just depended on the star system to make projects.

Last year, the Grand Masti actor was seen in the 2020 web series titled Poison 2 on ZEE5, while his latest film was the 2021 Kannada film called Kotigobba 3 that stars actor Sudeep.
