Actor Aditya Om, who acted in films like Lahiri Lahiri Lahiri Lo, Mee Intikosthe Emistharu Maa Intikosthe Em Testaaru, is back in the limelight. The actor has been in the news lately for being part of two Telugu films. One among them, Dahnam is keeping him in the news for the right reasons. Aditya Om is winning critical acclaim and appreciation for his portrayal of a priest in Dahnam, that is on an award-winning spree across film festivals.
The Lahiri Lahiri Lahiri Lo actor won the Best Actor award for Dahnam in two festivals. He bagged the award as the best actor under the regional film cateogry in the prestigious Rajasthan international film festival in its eighth edition. Actor, and producer Randhir Kapoor also was given a lifetime achievement award at this festival in the past that's attended by several dignitaries across the globe.
The actor also earned accolades for his performance in Dahnam at the Prime international film festival, Mumbai as well, where he won the best actor award. Aditya Om genuinely hopes that these honours will help him re-establish his presence in mainstream Telugu cinema all over again. Dahnam is written and directed by Murthy Adari, who also bagged a couple of awards in the festivals, incluing the best story award and critics’ choice director award. The film is produced by Dr P Satish and co-produced by Dr Sai.
Dahnam has wrapped up all pre-release formalities but will not release in theatres. Yes, you heard it right, the drama will directly premiere on a major streaming platform this June.
