A still from Adipurush

The much-awaited trailer for Adipurush is finally out. Taking chapters from the epic mythology, the trailer is packed with the most important moments from the saga. The trailer starts by showing Prabhas as a magnificent Lord Rama, while in no time, we see the sequence of Saif Ali Khan as Ravana abducting Sita as she crosses the Laxman Rekha.

The trailer is filled with more such moments of Rama's quest to reach Lanka with the help of Laxman, Hanuman, and the Vanar Sena to save Sita and get her back home. The trailer is filled with VFX and CGI, which are used to show the animated sequences, such as during the war, and also to show Hanuman and the Vanar Sena.

The Adipurush trailer ends with Lankesh showing his demonic side as he prays to Lord Shiva in his palace.

The Sanskrit epic Ramayana serves as inspiration for the mythical film Adipurush. Om Raut penned the script and directed it, and T-Series and Retrophiles produced the film. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan (in his Telugu debut), as well as Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth, appear in this bilingual film that was shot in both Hindi and Telugu at the same time.

Seven thousand years ago, King Rama of Ayodhya travelled to Lanka with the Hanuman-led army to save Sita, his wife, from Ravana, the demon king of Lanka.

On June 13, 2023, the film will have its world premiere in the Escape From Tribeca section of the Tribeca Film Festival. Three days later, the film will be released in theatres worldwide.

Meanwhile, talking about the trailer launch, after achieving phenomenal success with each teaser, the production prepared for the presentation of the film's official trailer—a truly global event that will be seen in 70 countries across the world.
