The pan Indian movie will release in multiple languages on January 12, 2023
Prabhas with Om Raut at the 3D teaser launch; a screen grab from the teaser
Fans of Prabhas, who were eagerly waiting for the much-awaited teaser of Adipurush, had a butter experience when makers unveiled the promo video a few days ago. Director Om Raut was at the receiving end as movie buffs expressed their disappointment over its poor VFX shots on social media.
The Baahubali star's hardcore admirers, who had pinned high hopes on the big budget project, couldn't stop complaining about the lackadaisical work that went into the making of the teaser. The movie became a laughing stock in no time, leaving many dejected to the core.
However, Om Raut later clarified that the teaser was not made to watch and enjoy on mobile phones, and that its 3D version would impress viewers. The team organized a 3D teaser launch at Hyderabad, and fans of Prabhas gathered in huge numbers to witness the spectacle on the big screen.
Contrary to the initial response, many film lovers and Prabhas fans were excited after watching the 3D version and took to social media to express their happiness. Many celebration videos from the theatre which screened the 3D teaser have been doing the rounds on Twitter.
Om seems to be ecstatic with the response from Telugu fans, and he shared his feelings on his Twitter page. He also posted a picture from the theatre where fans were seen enjoying Prabhas' entry in the teaser. Going by the comment section of the tweet, fans, too, seemed to have liked the 3D version of the most trolled teaser in recent times.
Adipurush will be released as a pan Indian project in multiple languages on January 12, 2023. The movie is expected to have a box office clash with Chiranjeevi's Mega 154 (tentative title) and Vijay's Vaarasudu (Varisu in Tamil).
