Released on November 21, Leo becomes the highest streamed animated film ever of Netflix

After a long time, Adam Sandler, the actor-cum-comedian returned for an animated film. Sandler lent his voice for Leo, the 74-year-old lizard. The film tells the story about the lizard, who suddenly realises that his lifespan is 75 years, and he is already in his 74th year. So, with his turtle friend, he decides to run away but instead finds an interesting life inside the school itself. He becomes the teacher one never expected and finds a purpose. The voice for the turtle named Squirtle, was lent by Bill Burr.

Before the film’s release, Sandler and Burr have shared several indelible memories of them while recovering their voices. The actors even attended the grand red carpet event on November 20, where Sandler’s wife Jackie and daughters Sadie and Sunny were also present.

Leo topping the charts
Now it's been reported that Leo has topped the chart and is ruling Netflix ever since its release on November 21. The film has become the most streamed animated film of Netflix with 34.6 million views in its first week. However, not only Leo is ruling Netflix, but it has also garnered 82% score on Rotten Tomatoes with marvellous criticisms.
