The critically acclaimed romantic fantasy drama, Adai Mazhai Kaalam, is all set to drop on Netflix on June 9. The film, which is helmed by Karthik Shamalan, stars Thia Lakshana and Loga Varman in the lead.
Karthik Shamalan had earlier directed the film, Kalyaanam 2 Kaathal. The trailer of the film was released by singer and Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Mugen Rao, who has also sung a song in the Malaysian film.
The plot of the film revolves around a young man's journey to find the meaning of eternal love and its purpose in his life. Adai Mazhai Kaalam, which is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, is presented with a touch of fantasy.
The supporting cast includes Sasitharan K Rajoo, Evarani, Vicky Rao, Jaykishen, Ruvela, Kalai Maamani and KS Maniam. While the cinematography is by Karthik Shamalan himself, music is by Shameshan Mani Maran and art direction is by Bhoga Lakshmi Indiran Shanmugam.
Adai Mazhai Kaalam opened to positive reviews and completed more than 60 days in Malaysian theatres. The film, which hit screens on January 26 earlier this year, is considered to have had the highest run for any Indian language movie in Malaysia since the pandemic.

Taking to his social media handle, the film's lead actor Loga Varman wrote, "I'm really glad to announce to y'all that the day we've all been waiting for has arrived. "ADAI MAZHAI KAALAM" is coming to NETFLIX as "THE ECLIPSE" on 11th June 2023. SET THE REMINDER and ADD IT TO “My list” on your NETFLIX App (sic)."
