Actress Divya Sripada's first look as Devi in Panchathantram out

Panchathanthram is an upcoming multi-starrer Telugu film, starring Brahmanandam, Samuthirakhani, Swathi Reddy, Shivatmika Rajasekhar and Rahul Vijay in the lead roles. The film, written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka, is bankrolled by Ticket Factory and S Originals by Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yerabolu. Upcoming character actor Divya Sripada, known for her roles in films like Middle Class Melodies, Colour Photo and Jathi Ratnalu, plays a key character in the same. The makers had released the first of Divya Sripada as Devi recently.

"Divya will be playing a bride, who enters a middle-class household. The characters in the film have been written with great love and care. I can assure you that the role of Devi will be very special. She's a happy-go-lucky yet innocent girl who stands up for her beloved through their thick and thin. Devi handles the responsibilities as a homemaker sans any complaint and many women will identify with the character," the film's writer and director Harsha Pulipaka said.

The producers too assured that Divya will be seen in a 'special' role. The shoot of Panchanthanthram is nearing completion, with only 25% of the film yet to be shot. The dubbing and other post-production formalities have already begun. The makers are aiming for a theatrical release anytime between November and December. Sri Vidya, Vikas, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Naresh Agasthya play other supporting roles in the film. Kittu Vissapragada has penned the lyrics while Prashanth R Vihari is on board as the composer. Raj K Nalli and BH Garry are the cinematographer and the editor for Panchathantram.
