Lalu Alex has seen it all, from the golden generation of Malayalam cinema to modern experiments. The veteran actor has shared the screen with actors like Mammootty and Mohanlal as well as with the new generation, including Dulquer Salmaan and Prithviraj.
Lalu, who was last seen in the Mohanlal-Prithviraj starrer, In a recent chat, Bro Daddy opened up about his experience to Manorama Online. He said that he feels lucky to be able to act with different generations, whether it be with Mammootty or his son Dulquer. He added that he shares a warm bond with the actors beyond the sets.
He also recalled the movie ABCD and talked about how Dulquer showered love upon him and treated him with respect, as he knew the bond Lalu shared with his father. He has also been with the children of Sukumaran and Priyadarshan, that is, Prithvi and Kalyani Priyadarshan, for which he is very happy, and he is looking forward to working with Pranav Mohanlal as well.
Talking about Bro Daddy, Lalu opined that the film has a fun cosmopolitan style. He found his role exciting when producer Antony Perumbavoor and director Prithviraj approached him. He is also proud that the team managed to finish the work despite the COVID-19 situation. He also shared an experience while dubbing for the movie. There were a few scenes that needed reshoots, and he remembered how Prithvi handled it well and guided him to make the necessary amendments.

After a while, Lalu and Mohanlal were seen together on the screen again, though the duo had pulled off amazing work in many earlier movies. Speaking of Mohanlal, Lalu hailed him as one of the most versatile actors in the country, who doesn’t need any explanation beyond that.
