Earlier, while talking about being a part of Accused Cannon told Deadline that his Fox family has always been there for him, and it's apparent that he enjoyed the show. Acting is undoubtedly his passion. To be honest, he primarily engages in hosting as a hobby. Being an actor is his craft. Everything about the role—Marcus in particular—intrigued him. The character got to feel practically every emotion in just one hour, and he got to play a character who is completely unlike him in a universe where Nick Cannon doesn't exist.

Nick Cannon's favourite aspect of the anthology format

Cannon further added that the fact that each episode serves as a mini-film is one of his favorite aspects of this anthology series. He caught a couple of episodes—one starring Michael Chiklis and his son, and another with Malcolm Jamal Warner. In the end, he watched every one of them. Those two stood out to him the most.
