Acclaimed director Narasimha Nandi’s Prabhutva Saraayi Dukanam to star Aditi Myakal

Narasimha Nandi's next formally launched
Director Narasimha Nandi, who won plaudits and several awards for his critically acclaimed films like 1940 Lo Oka Gramam, Kamalatho Naa Prayanam and Lajja, is on a comeback trail. He has commenced work on his next film today. His next project is titled Prabhutva Saraayi Dukanam, which went on floors with a pooja ceremony. Parigi Sravanthi Mallik and Naresh Goud are the producers.
Prabhutva Saraayi Dukanam, made under Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Cinema, stars Aditi Myakal, Vinay, Mallik and Naresh Goud in key roles in addition to Mahanthi, Veerabhadram, Balu Nayak and others. The film, set in the 1980s era, is based on a popular literary work of Shakespeare and will unfold in the backdrop of a small village in Telangana.

The film will revolve around a political family and focus on their quest for power, jealousy, and interpersonal relationships, showcasing different facets of the characters. Director Narasimha Nandi shares that considerable effort and research has gone into representing the 1980s on screen. The makers assure that Prabhutva Saraayi Dukanam has a good mix of young talent and experienced actors.
Sukku scores the music for the film which is also written by Narasimha Nandi. Mahireddy Pandugala cranks the camera for the rural drama while V Nagi Reddy is the editor. Prabhutva Saraayi Dukanam is expected to release in the first quarter/summer of 2024. Narasimha Nandi had last directed Jathiya Rahadari in 2021 and promises to return with another hard-hitting film.
“There are two sides to every human. What if our envies, jealousies, dark dimensions take control over us? The film comes with a message. It has enough commercial appeal and we’re hopeful it’ll fetch us awards too. It is a rooted story with realistic characters. The shoot starts in November,” the director adds. Prabhutva Saraayi Dukanam will make history, Aditi Myakal exudes optimism.
