The director also mentioned that he would shoot at freezing temperatures which inspired Sara Ali Khan to film in such conditions.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Abhishek revealed details about Sushant's commitment to the film Kai Po Che, which was also directed by Kapoor. He revealed that the actor was extremely overweight when they auditioned him and then the director made him understand that because he was playing a cricketer, he needed to look like one. "He wouldn’t say much. He was not a man of too many words. But in 3 months, he worked so hard and he would be there at six in the morning for cricket practice, the gym training and by the end of it, he looked like it," he said.
