Director Abhishek Chowdhury’s web film TikiLand is touted to be a futuristic fantasy satire. The premise of the film builds upon the 21st-century concept of social anxiety — FOMO. There’s a virus out there, ‘a futuristic virus FOMO’, that attacks people's minds and instils the fear of missing out.

Devtanu, who plays the protagonist Saptak, will narrate the story. He is a theatre artist who is constantly sparring with the ‘Tikistars’, who on the other hand, regard themselves as good artists. Suvosmita, Rii Sen star alongside Devtanu in important roles.

Devtanu told the media that social media influence has overshadowed art in the futuristic world that Saptak lives in. He also added that the film holds a special place in his heart. Describing it as his ‘dream project’, Devtanu further revealed that he landed TikiLand after struggling for two years.
