Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's personal life has been discussed a lot recently. Rumors of their divorce are all over the internet. The Bollywood actor has expressed heartfelt gratitude to his wife and actress Aishwarya. In an interview with The Hindu, Abhishek spoke about Aishwarya being a responsible and sacrificing mother. The actor thanked his better half for looking after their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan when he's out for work.

Speaking with the publication, Abhishek mentioned he is grateful to his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He considered himself lucky to be able to go out and work in films.

"Even in my household, I'm very lucky I get to go out and make the movies. But I know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya, and I thank her immensely for that. But I don't think the children think of it that way. They don't look upon you in third person. They look upon you in the first – you're the parent, the father or the mother," said Abhishek.

Talking about his childhood, the actor didn't feel his parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were absent either. The actor's mom took a break while his father continued to work in films.

"My mother had stopped acting in films when I was born because she wanted to spend time with the children. But we never felt the void of dad not being around. I don't think much is made up of it. At the end of the day, after work, you come home at night," he added.

Abhishek Bachchan's work front

Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek was recently seen in I Want To Talk. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the movie had a theatrical release on November 22, 2024. It opened to positive feedback from the critics. Despite the good response, I Want To Talk is yet to gain momentum at the box office. It will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video after the theatrical run.
