Abhishek Bachchan aka the new Bob Biswas regrets being unprepared for his debut film Refugee

Abhishek Bachchan has appeared in numerous diverse characters within his two decades of career span. While some of them have helped him receive high praise, others haven't gone down well with the audience. Abhishek, who made his debut with the 2000 movie Refugee now feels that he wasn’t really prepared for the role.

He mentioned it as one of his regrets while talking to RJ Siddharth Kannan, as quoted by The Indian Express. “I felt that I wasn’t prepared to work with the great JP Dutta'', he said. One needs to be prepared well if they were to work with such an honoured director on the first film, he added.

However, the actor also thinks of it as a lesson for himself. He said he wouldn’t have learned anything as an actor had he perfected the role in Refugee. He thinks that it is not about how one starts his career, but how it all ends. But the start determines a big part and his shaky start pushed him to pull up his socks, according to the actor.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan was recently making headlines for his upcoming movie Bob Biswas the spin-off of the 2012 Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani. He will be seen replacing Saswata Chatterjee, who essayed Bob, the cold-blooded contract killer in Kahaani.
