Abhishek Bachchan, Aaradhya join Aishwarya, Vikram, Trisha and Jayam Ravi, watch Ponniyin Selvan 2 in Chennai

Ponniyin Selvan 2, which was released yesterday across the world in different languages, has opened to positive response from critics and moviegoers. Though its first day collection is said to be less than what Ponniyin Selvan 1 earned a few months ago, cinephiles hope that PS 2 would surpass the first part with no big films releasing soon.

The likes of Vikram, Jayaram, Trisha and Sobhita were spotted yesterday at the film's FDFS at Palazzo theatre in Chennai. They were happy to watch the film along with the audience. A couple of pics Vikram clicked with a few journalists during the show went viral on social media.

At the press meet of the movie which was held a couple of days ago in Chennai, Trisha said that Aishwarya Rai would be joining the cast members soon as part of theatre visits. The actress flew down to Chennai to do the same when PS 1 was released.

The social media page of Lyca Productions has now posted a couple of pics of her latest visit to Sathyam theatre in the city. She is accompanied by her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya. Trisha is accompanied by her mother Uma while Jayam Ravi is seen along with his wife Aarthi. Vikram and Vikram Prabhu are also seen in the pics.

Fans of the actors are curious to know what new surprises the cast is going to plan in the coming days to promote the movie. PS 1 grossed around 500 crores and now movie buffs are looking forward to what PS 2 could earn in its long run. The digital premiere of PS 2 is expected to happen in the first week of June.
