Abbott Elementary is here to win more hearts and awards, with its third season just days away from releasing. The third season will be releasing early this month on ABC, and streaming the next day on Hulu, as usual. Despite previous seasons being dropped yearly in September, last year’s SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed its release.

Created and led by Quinta Brunson, viewers can expect to see the third season of Abbott Elementary February 7, 2024, onward. Indian viewers can see the show on Disney+. ABC dropped a trailer for Abbott Elementary on January 31, 2024. If the trailer is anything to go by, a lot of strict changes are coming at the underpaid staff of everybody’s favorite Philadelphia public school.
Cast of Season 3 of Abbott Elementary
Reprising their roles are all the cast members, including Quinta Brunson as Janine, Tyler James Williams as Gregory, Sheryl Lee Ralph as Barbara, William Stanford Davis as Mr. Johnson, Lisa Ann Walter as Melissa, Janelle James as Principal Ava, and Chris Perfetti as Jacob. The third season would not have been possible without either of them.
What to expect in the third season of Abbott Elementary
Abbott Elementary Season 3 follows up on the changes and cliffhangers from Season 2’s school trip finale. Janine and Gregory’s slow burn romance finally finds expression, though briefly, before being friendzoned till the situation improves between the two. The trailer also shows a reformed, extra-strict Ava, who has learned how to be a ‘proper’ Principal at Harvard and is determined to reform the school with extra-stern measures.
The mock-documentary shooting style always adds a fun edge to the school comedy that is otherwise heartwarmingly and maturely handled. It also offers a fleeting insight into the awkwardness and held-back feelings between Janine and Gregory in the trailer of the upcoming season. The third season of Abbott Elementary assures more iconic performances, amusing chaos, and boisterous adventures, along with sweet romances on February 7 this year.
