Raj Chakraborty is all set to step into the world of web series with Abar Proloy in Zee5. The series features Saswata Chatterjee as the supercop Animesh Dutta and also has Paran Bandyopadhyay, Koushani Mukherjee, Ritwick Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakrabarty, and several others in the lead.
Kaushani, who is known to be a hardcore commercial film heroine, appears in a de-glam avatar in this series. She plays the right hand of Ritwick Chakraborty’s character. Dressed in a simple Math uniform, adorned with a garland around her neck, Kaushani has completely transformed into the glamorous avatar of ‘Mohni Ma’ in one stroke. Viewers haven't seen the actress in a sage-like appearance before.

Now, as they watch Kaushani on stage, a devotee stepped forward to offer her respects, by touching her feet. This gesture left Koushani stunned. With folded hands, she stands beside the fan and said, “I am still among the heroines... I mean, I haven’t aged that much yet.”
In the series Abar Proloy, Kaushani has broken her mold. She didn't need much effort to grasp the Bengali dialect of the Sundarbans region. She said that she worked tirelessly every day to bring the character of 'Mohni Ma' to life in front of the camera.
Remarkably, her acting skills haven't gone unnoticed either! Kaushani’s skills have always been judged because of the film background she had. Even in that perspective, she spoke out. In an interview with a media outlet, Kaushani confidently expressed, “Those who say I can’t act, they have never given me a chance! If they knew, they would find out whether I can act or not! I have enough doubt about those critics as well.”
