Aavesham Box Office Collection Day 2: The action-comedy film, which stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, has reportedly minted around Rs. 21.5 crore worldwide.
Aavesham Box Office Collection: The recently released action-comedy film, which is helmed by Romancham fame Jithu Madhavan, has been receiving positive reviews from audiences. Fahadh Faaasil plays the central character, Ranga, the gangster in the film, which is now on its way to emerge as the Vishu winner of 2024. As per reports, Aavesham made a total worldwide box office collection of Rs. 21.5 crore after the first 2 days of its release.
According to recent updates from trade experts, Aavesham has made around Rs. 10.82 crore at the worldwide box office on Day 2 at the theatres. Thus, the total worldwide collection of the movie in the first two days has crossed Rs. 21.5 crore. The Fahadh Faasil starrer has now established clear dominance over the other Vishu releases which include Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Varshangalkku Shesham and Unni Mukundan's Jai Ganesh.

Trade experts suggest that Aavesham has made over Rs. 6.75 crore from the Kerala box office alone so far. When it comes to the overseas centres, the Fahadh Faasil-starrer has made over Rs. 13 crore so far. Director Jithu Madhavan's movie is evidently performing better in overseas centres. However, it is yet to be seen if the action-comedy flick will be able to break the previous records of Malayalam cinema in the territory.
The ongoing PVR ban for Malayalam films has impacted the box office run of the Vishu releases in 2024, and this includes Aavesham. The massive fall in the number of screens is reflected in the box office collections of the Fahadh Faasil starrer, especially when it comes to the Rest of India’s centres. As per reports, Aavesham has struck a chord with Telugu-speaking audiences, especially in Hyderabad.
However, it is not seen in the box office collections from the other states, owing to the unavailability of PVR screens. Still, the movie is expected to cross the Rs. 40 crore mark at the worldwide box office within the first weekend (4 days) of its release. If things proceed at the same rate, Aavesham might cross the Rs. 80 crore mark at the box office, within its lifetime run at the theatres.
